Episode Summary

In Episode 3 of the HBBAB podcast, we chat with Missy Sullivan, a pre + postnatal corrective exercise specialist, as well as a diastasis and core consultant. We discuss the importance of building a strong core, how to modify exercise during each trimester of pregnancy and how to strengthen your abdominal walls after giving birth.

Episode Notes

Missy Sullivan is a lifelong fitness enthusiast who understands the importance of correct core training before, during and after pregnancy. She suffered from a severe  diastasis recti and incontinence issues after the birth of her third baby girl. This motivated her to learn more about healing her core through exercise so she could go on to help other mothers do the same. In 2018, she launched Core Redefined, which provides clients with education, tools and core exercise programs to help mothers safely train during pregnancy and postpartum. Missy teaches clients effective exercises to help them continue or return to doing the activities they love. Her main goal is to teach her clients proper form so they can strengthen weak muscles, stretch tight muscles, and feel confident in their bodies that made their beautiful babies!
